The Sherwood GV-MRI valve meets the ASTM F2213 requirement for a 3-Tesla magnetic resonance (MR) environment. The GV-MRI special construction utilizes materials that reduce the magnetic attraction of valve when installed on an aluminum cylinder. This provides peace of mind for hospital personnel and patients who as a result are able to maintain their accessibility to medical gases where access to medical oxygen is limited. All GV-MRI valves are certified oxygen clean and available in straight thread inlets for aluminum cylinders.
