Shimmer Media Releases Photopia To Sell Photos Directly From Android Mobile Devices

Photopia unlocks the potential of the billions of mobile photographs taken every year by going beyond social network posting to true photographic sales. The product enables anyone with an Android device to offer photos for sale to any customer in the United States, directly from the device. A mobile-responsive Web page that hosts the same photos is also included, free of charge.
The Photopia model makes it easy for anyone to get started. Every member is provided a portfolio space of 50 photos, free of any monthly charge. Using Photopia, the member assigns a royalty to any image offered for sale in Photopia. Shimmer Media does not charge a fee on royalties below a certain dollar value, meaning that for many photo sales, the Photopia member retains the entire product markup.
Products available for sale include the most common print sizes, both border and borderless, as well as posters and thirteen ready-to-hang stretched canvas from 8x10 through 24x24.
The Photopia shopping cart simplifies mobile order creation. The image, along with any cropping or borders, is previewed directly on the same page that includes sizes and pricing.
