ShipRateCompare.com Announces the Addition of UPS 2017 (Preliminary) Rates to FedEx, UPS (2016) and USPS Rates to Allow Preparation for the Dec 26 Price Increase
Toronto ON Canada (PRWEB) December 01, 2016 -- With the addition of the UPS 2017 (Preliminary) rates to the http://ShipRateCompare.com site, the impact of the Dec 26 UPS price increase can be readily seen and compared. Changes to dimensional weight divisors, Delivery Area Surcharge increases, Oversize/Additional Handling and OS3 increases are all part of the new rates. The new rates will be identified with a UPS7 prefix instead of UPS.
The Preliminary prices will be updated to actual prices by UPS on Dec 26 and will form the new pricing structure from that date onward. The FedEx updates will be available on Jan 2, 2017.
The annual price increases of UPS and FedEx always make businesses look at their shipping needs and ask the question "How can we ship smarter?". ShipRateCompare.com helps answer that question by showing instantly and efficiently the various courier service options available for a given package weight and size moving from an origin ZIP to a destination ZIP.
Looking at the increases also serves to further highlight the value of the various USPS services available. Note that USPS Media Mail only shows when USPS is entered in the "Only" field.
