The agency pledges to select a new beneficiary every 60 days, working closely with nonprofit groups and community leaders to find worthwhile opportunities to strengthen the community and its people.
To debut their new community enrichment program, Shirl Crowe, owner and president of Shirl Crowe Agency, has chosen to throw support behind Freedom Work Opportunities, a local nonprofit organization which offers solutions for adults with disabilities transitioning from school into gainful employment. Created in 1983, Freedom Work strives to provide vocational training, a supportive environment, social skills and job placement. Earning money and gaining personal satisfaction empowers their clients with feelings of value and self-respect as they learn to become responsible, contributing members of society.
