New York, NY (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- Top New York moving company Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to announce its recent donation of time, truck and man power support to the Bronx Jewish Community Council through the joint efforts of UJA/Federation and Catholic Charities Feeding Our Neighbors: An Interfaith Response located at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, NY on January 19, 2014.
The premier event “Feeding Our Neighbors” Initiative is a coordinated effort by the Archdiocese and the UJA Jewish Federation of New York initiative, to present a unified effort to tackle hunger in the city. The initiative strives to strengthen the resources for food pantries, by collecting and distributing one million meals during the winter’s cruelest months. “The Bronx Jewish Community Council is most deeply appreciative of the consistent and generous support that the principles and staff of Shleppers Moving and Storage has shown us, each time they make a truck and staff available to us to collect food, to fill our pantry shelves; a pantry that supplies over 3000 meals each month,” said a BJCC representative.
