Shoe Drive Fundraiser Launches Micro-Enterprise Curriculum
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- The new Micro-Enterprise Curriculum, released by Funds2Orgs, is designed to introduce classrooms to the world of business and micro-enterprises around the world. Students will uncover the basics of business and marketing, create their own business plans, learn how to create a budget, and discover how micro-enterprises are impacting the environment and their communities. The curriculum has four editions based on student grade levels: elementary, middle, high, and homeschool.
Each level has 5 modules: Basics of Business, Basics of Marketing, Micro-Enterprise Fundamentals, Creating a Micro-Enterprise Business Plan, and Finances. Each module consists of a student worksheets, classroom discussions, vocabulary, and role play activities. In addition to the student worksheets, different modules offer assignment options to create an advanced level curriculum and additional research opportunities. For each module, there is a downloadable student workbook and corresponding teacher edition.

The modules are free to use, with query input; and can be found on the Funds2Orgs website.
Classrooms participating in the curriculum are encouraged to host a shoe drive fundraiser to raise money for their school while increasing awareness of micro-enterprises in developing countries. It is not required to host a shoe drive fundraiser however to utilize the curriculum.
