Shreveport-Bossier launches rewards program to attract new conventions
Shreveport-Bossier, LA (PRWEB) April 29, 2015 -- The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau launched a new rewards program to incentivize meeting and event planners to host new conventions in Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana.
New business clients can receive up to $3,000 for hosting meetings in Shreveport-Bossier. To qualify as new business, the convention or meeting must not have been held in Shreveport-Bossier in the past two years. The program requires a minimum of 50 hotel room nights, and the meeting must be held prior to Dec. 31, 2018.
To receive the cash reward, registration forms must be approved prior to signing contracts with hotels. Hotel contracts must be signed before Dec. 31, 2015.

Shreveport-Bossier is conveniently located in the northwestern part of Louisiana, and is an ideal destination for conventions and meetings with more than 10,000 hotel rooms and eight large meeting venues including the 350,000-square-foot Shreveport Convention Center.
