Shweiki Media Printing Company Teams Up With Triumph Books to Support USO San Antonio
Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 24, 2014 -- Shweiki Media is excited to announce that they’ve teamed up with Triumph Books to support USO San Antonio Airport—and, by proxy, our men and women in uniform—this holiday season.
As thousands of troops went through the airport this last weekend for the holidays, they had the opportunity to take a piece of San Antonio home with them in the form of the championship Spurs collector's edition celebration book, courtesy of the USO.
This publication was donated by local printing company Shweiki Media and Triumph Books, a leader in sports publishing.
According to Director of USO San Antonio, Kristy Walston, the San Antonio branch of the organization serves over 100,000 troops at the two centers downtown and at the airport. Walston said that they were very appreciative of the donation and that it will help the organization fulfill their mission of lifting the spirits of the troops.
The USO’s staff and volunteers collectively operate over 160 centers across the world and, along with the USO Board of Governors, use their knowledge and expertise to deliver excellent programs and services to men and women in uniform, wherever they serve. This cause is particularly important to Shweiki Media, as Col. Bonnie Hartstein, the wife of President and CEO Gal Shweiki, is an activity duty army physician.
