Sierra Completions serves private sector V-VIPs and Heads of State, modifying jet interiors to create an “office in the sky.” Featuring world-class engineering and design, the newly-established firm comes complete with all the cutting-edge systems and technology for which SNC has become recognized over the past 50 years.
Sierra Completions capabilities include design, modification, integration, modernization, certified aircraft maintenance, and aircraft overhaul. The United States-based company plans to work closely with SNC’s newest subsidiary, 328 Support Services GmbH (328), an established expert interiors manufacturing company.
328 is headquartered in London with its main operations based at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport, near Munich, Germany. It owns the type certificate and intellectual property rights for design, manufacturing, maintenance and certification of the 200 existing Dornier 328 (D328) prop and jet aircraft, and employs more than 150 aviation experts. The 328 team has significant experience in customer support, VIP/Corporate aircraft completions and manufacturing.
In addition to continuing the legacy of the Dornier name, 328 has expanded its capabilities to provide an increasing range of services on a host of other aircraft. This includes full supplemental type certificates (STCs), design, and build-and-certify solutions for customers such as Airbus, Lufthansa and Turkish Technic. 328 also anticipates a close working relationship with SNC’s Kansas-based subsidiary 3S Certification LLC in the areas of design and type certification.
