SIG Launches Individual Professional Membership Program to Provide Executives with Access to Research, Content and Networking
Jacksonville, Fla. (PRWEB) December 15, 2016 -- SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, today announces the commencement of an individual membership program for industry professionals to join the Sourcing Industry Group.
This program provides executives across the globe with access to proprietary research, thought leadership content and networking opportunities in a non-commercial environment. The program was formed to support the needs of professionals in sourcing, outsourcing, procurement and global business services functions at organizations worldwide.
“We have found that as executives make job changes, they require immediate access to best practice industry tools,” said Geoff Talbot, Vice President of Member Services, SIG. “Our individual membership program allows them to utilize thought leadership content in the SIG Resource Center as well as the ability to network and collaborate with other like-minded professionals.”
Prior to today’s announcement, SIG offered enterprise-only options. Seventy-five percent of SIG’s current members are buy-side organizations, primarily in the Fortune 500/Global 1000. Service provider and advisory firms represent the other twenty-five percent of the membership base.
