Sim Shalom to Spark Global #OurLightsForPeace on Chanukah
New York, New York (PRWEB) November 16, 2015 -- For twenty one centuries Jews have celebrated Chanukah, the miracle of light over darkness. To commemorate Chanukah and bring forth the true essence of its meaning especially at this critical time, Sim Shalom will use its global network as a catalyst to inspire congregants to say a simple prayer for peace, and to radiate the light from within into a daily act of kindness to sustain the miracle of light in the world.
Participants from anywhere in the world (with wifi) can partake in the free holiday celebration and light their menorah candle together with the prayer for peace by clicking on at Sim Shalom's website http://www.simshalom.com at 7:00 pm EST on Sunday, December 6.
Followers can use the hashtag #OurLightsForPeace throughout the holiday season to spread their light. A global map will be incorporated on Sim Shalom's Facebook page beginning on Chanukah's first night where congregants will be able to submit their city and country to connect the lights around the world.
