New South Wales, Australia (PRWEB UK) 3 September 2014 -- Australian-based energy efficient technology business Simons Green Energy has been recognised for its role in championing the developing cogeneration market in Australia.
The company has won the ENER-G 'Fastest Growing Cogen Partner' Award for its dynamism in the Australian cogeneration/CHP market.
ENER-G, which is European market leader in small scale cogeneration/CHP, appointed Simons Green Energy as its Australian Cogen Partner in 2012. During 2013, the company's first full year in partnership with ENER-G, it secured 14 major orders - generating a total of 3.3MW of clean energy.
Alan Barlow, Managing Director of ENER-G Combined Power Ltd, said: "As Australian customers look for energy efficient alternatives to traditional coal powered energy, the Simons group has expanded its broad clean energy portfolio to include ENER-G's state-of-the-art cogeneration and trigeneration systems.
Simons has been a market leader in heating and cooling engineering for the past 80 years and offers significant expertise in specifying, commissioning, installing and maintaining our CHP technologies."
Simons Green Energy has installed ENER-G cogeneration and trigeneration projects across the leisure and commercial sectors. Among its recent customers is Club Banora, a sport and recreation resort based on the New South Wales Coast. The club will cut annual energy costs by approximately $125,000 and reduce carbon emissions by 30% with a new ENER-G 230 kW trigeneration system.
Derek Simons, Chief Executive of Simons Green Energy, said: "We are proud to partner with ENER-G and to supply their superb cogeneration and trigeneration technologies, which provide the reliable, quality solution to our customers' cost and carbon reduction requirements. ENER-G's Discount Energy Purchase scheme gives us the ability to offer financed energy solutions on a pay-as-you-save basis. We are proud to be at the forefront in leading Australia's growing cogeneration market."
ENER-G has been Europe’s leading provider of packaged cogeneration and trigeneration systems (4kWe to 10MWe in size) for the past 30 years. The UK company designs, manufactures, finances, operates and maintains CHP units across the globe, working with a network of Cogen Partners with technical expertise and local market knowledge.
ENER-G is seeking new Cogen Partners, who are experienced in delivering gas engine or turbine CHP and who have a highly trained team of design and service engineers with a nationwide reach.
