SimpleTire has a Solution for Shipping to an APO Address
Chalfont, PA (PRWEB) September 08, 2014 -- Online tire solution, SimpleTire.com already has a military discount to say "thank you" to those who do so much for our country. The tire retailer announced a military discount at the beginning of 2014 offering 5% off the entire purchase price or 8% off tire purchases over $500 to active military and veterans.
In the time since this announcement the customer service department has noticed many military personnel have a difficult time shipping their tires to an APO address. SimpleTire has found a solution to this problem in ShipitAPO: http://www.shipitapo.com/abt/intro.php.
According to their website, ShipitAPO provides "APO/FPO address holders with a unique stateside street address" to use in place of the "Ship To" address to share with online retailers. Then items are sent to that unique address and ShipitAPO mails the items to the APO/FPO address.
Once members are signed up with ShipitAPO, they are given a unique mailing address to give to online retailers. Members of the service can set up their account to ship via USPS and pay the shipping costs to ShipitAPO. Once members are signed up, they have access to tracking information and can follow their package to its destination.
