Singer-Songwriter Che'Nelle Debuts New Music Video for First Single "Love You Like Me" Off Her New EP
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) December 01, 2017 -- In early November, the international recording artist Che’Nelle, released her latest EP “Calm Before The Storm” through the label Empire, marking her first all-English release in the States. Now Che’Nelle will release the accompanying music video to her first single “Love You Like Me”.
The single is the perfect introduction to the rest of her album, which Che’Nelle describes as being the starting point or warm up to who Che”Nelle is as an artist. With a Caribbean influenced pop sound, Che’Nelle’s vocals soar on the single, while the video shows Che’Nelle squaring off with its male lead that ends with a surprising plot twist.
About the song and video Che’Nelle says, “I wanted to write to some sort of a Caribbean beat that was rock influenced with a live band sound. My producer Mario Silverage Para of course understood my vague explanations and dove in and worked out a sound that I loved and it inspired me. I played with the idea of being in love with someone who constantly tries to find better when all that he deserves and wants is right here with me. It’s a little arrogant, but hey that’s the beauty of songs -- they’re expressions, thoughts, imaginations and memories. Can’t wait for y’all to see the video.”
Fresh off a recent tour of Asia, Che’Nelle already has a packed schedule to round out 2017. Che’Nelle just performed at the 2018 annual LA Holiday Parade, will be heading back to Asia and just had her single “Hollywood” from her new EP featured on ASCAP’s New Music Friday on their official Spotify playlist. With performances lined up and new music videos and releases set, 2018 promises to be just the beginning for Che’Nelle.
