SIW Windows Receives NOA for Pivot Doors
Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2015 -- SIW Windows and Doors received a notice of acceptance (NOA) from the Miami-Dade County Product Control Section earlier this month. The regulatory agency affirmed that the high impact pivot door series from SIW Windows has a large and small missile impact rating.
Unlike conventional doors that are hanged from hinges, pivot doors utilize a set of pints mounted within the top and bottom of the door. SIW Windows has taken the progression of pivot doors a step further by creating an impact resistant pivot door.
Abe Lopez, President of SIW Windows and Doors explained further: “Pivot doors are designed in the modern architecture principle of “simplicity” and “functionality”. Our pivot door series are designed to exceed mandated impact resistance ratings and truly offer a unique and contemporary design to our customers’ homes.”
Lopez has even gone as far as installing a custom pivot door to his showroom in Delray Beach. “Pivot doors, along with our hurricane impact resistant Bi-Fold doors are our fastest growing product lines. When customers visit our showroom and come through that pivot door, it is almost inevitability that we will receive a compliment or inquiry regarding pivot doors.”
“Our pivot doors not only offer a fantastic alternative for our customers to the traditional hinged doors, but they are also extremely durable. We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products to protect against severe weather and even burglary.”
SIW Windows and Doors, is one of the leading manufacturers of impact resistant windows and doors in South Florida and recently opened up its doors to consumers directly. The company has seen tremendous growth due to its superior product and warranty.
Lopez has also submitted NOA approval requests for the SIW Windows’ Bi-Fold product series expects to have an approval shortly.
