Six Red Marbles Hires Amit Shah as Executive Managing Director
Boston, Mass. (PRWEB) December 09, 2014 -- Six Red Marbles today announced that Amit Shah joins the company’s leadership team as Executive Managing Director.
“Amit is a business innovator who spent his career immersed in educational publishing, excelling at many facets of the vertical,” said Bob Fogel, CEO of Six Red Marbles. “His strong background in product development, social studies content and assessments, and client relations will help drive Six Red Marbles’ curriculum strategy.”
For 20 years, Six Red Marbles has been a leader in developing textbooks, blended learning materials, interactive curriculum and online courses for e-learning companies, educational publishers, schools and non-profit organizations, with the goal of engaging students through rich personalized experiences.
“The educational market is thriving as there is a demand for not only hybrid learning programs, but also digital-only experiences,” Shah said. “There is great opportunity in providing quality learning materials to both ends of the spectrum, elementary schools to colleges, and I look forward to growing Six Red Marbles’ global team to meet these industry needs.”
Shah joins Six Red Marbles from Jouve North America, where he served as executive director of curriculum and business strategy. Prior to that, he was cofounder of Green Comma and Zulama, both companies in the educational market specializing in print and digital products and online course development. Shah also spent much of his career in leadership positions at top publishers Pearson Education and Holt McDougal and working with major clients such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC and WGBH.
