Sixty-year-old Ultramarathon Winner Publishes Inspiring Autobiography

Abbott started marathon running at the age of 56, ran three London marathons, and then won a 60-kilometre, three-day ultramarathon event in China, just a couple of weeks short of her 60th birthday – a remarkably unprecedented feat. She is a retired teacher with a passion for children, travel and adventure and has had a lifelong interest in sport and fitness.
