Sizzix Explores Parisian-Inspired Crafts with New French General Collection
LAKE FOREST, Calif. (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 -- Consumers can enjoy creating unique, charming gift packaging and organizational storage options with the debut French General crafts collection for Sizzix® and its family of die-cutting machines.
Kaari Meng, the inspiring designer and owner of the renowned Los Angeles fabric, jewelry and crafts store bearing the same name, captures iconic country designs in her new French General die-cutting, embossing and stamping collection.
“My collection for Sizzix allows crafters to use my versatile products to create countless vintage projects for storage, décor or gift giving needs,” said Meng.
Led by nine steel-rule Bigz™ dies in standard, L and XL sizes featuring boxes, button holders, envelopes and thread winders, consumers can create designs that store beads, buttons and notions, as well as fashion charming packages that can be embellished with four Framelits™ die sets with stamps in “Labels,” “French Icons #2,” “Labels & Numbers” and “Sewing Words.”
Two Thinlits™ die sets and a single Framelits die set cut frames, labels, sewing basket and supply shapes, while three Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folders add rich button, lace, ruler, stitch, vine and French-themed patterns onto paper crafts to complete the collection.
“We are thrilled to bring our consumers the captivating Parisian aesthetic that the French General is known for into our new designs,” said Cara Mariano, Art Director for Sizzix.
The French General collection is now available in stores around the country, including local craft boutiques and major retail craft chains. For more information, visit http://www.sizzix.com/home.
