Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- While searching the web one day, Don’t Call Me Ma’am Co-Founder, Ilene Ruvinsky, came across the video of Senator Barbara Boxer requesting that a General address her as Senator instead of ma’am. That request resonated strongly. Being called “ma’am” equated to being put in a box called “old.” This became the seed of the Don’t’ Call Me Ma’am brand concept and initial product offering of premiere, paraben-free skin care in 100% recyclable containers.

Don’t Call Me Ma’am, is one of many innovative start-ups that has turned to crowdfunding to propel their launch. This funding technique has revolutionized the way small businesses raise capital and afforded DCMM the ability to deploy an efficient, easily-shared, and low-cost funding campaign to friends, family and others.

Ilene Ruvinsky, Co-founder and President
Ilene Ruvinsky is an experienced management consultant and business leader with over 25 years of experience leading projects in corporate transformation, new product development and commercialization, and IT performance management. The former founder of Stone Tablet Education, an online project management tool for high school administrators, teachers, and students, Ilene holds a graduate degree from McGill University.

Kathleen Spitzer, Co-founder and President of Viviane Skin Care
A graduate of Stanford, Kathleen has a diverse background in business and philanthropy. Kathleen has been the President of Viviane Skin Care since 2007.
