SkinSmart Dermatology Announces the Addition of Two Medical Practitioners to Its Team
Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) February 17, 2016 -- SkinSmart Dermatology recently added Gabrielle Gorzelnik, a licensed, Certified Physician Assistant and Molly Prichard, an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to the practice. They join Founder and Medical Director Elizabeth F. Callahan, MD, William B. Adams, MD and Kate Weed, PA-C and bring the number of staff to almost 40.
According to Dr. Callahan, “I feel very fortunate to be able to announce the addition of both Molly Prichard, ARNP and Gabrielle Gorzelnik, PA-C to the SkinSmart team. Molly joined the team as a Dermatologic Fellow last year and is now a full-time medical practitioner. Gabrielle will join us in just a few weeks. Both have extensive experience and education in the medical and dermatological field.”
Prichard joined SkinSmart Dermatology as a Dermatologic Fellow in 2015 and spent extensive time training with Dr. Callahan before joining the practice full time as a Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner this year. Prichard is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received both her bachelors and masters in nursing from the University of South Florida. She has nursing experience in dermatology, family practice, oncology and women’s health.
Gorzelnik will join SkinSmart Dermatology as a licensed Certified Physician Assistant with more than 10 years of adult and pediatric medical dermatology experience in New Jersey. She graduated from Drexel University with an Advanced Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Physician Assistants, according to the American Academy of Physician Assistants, are nationally certified and state-licensed medical professionals. PAs practice medicine on healthcare teams with physicians and other providers. They practice and prescribe medication in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and all U.S. territories, with the exception of Puerto Rico.
