Skydiving Team to Open Freedom Alliance Charity Golf Outing
DAYTON, OH (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- This year’s outing will take place on Friday, July 26 at 1pm, and Saturday July 27, starting at 8am. Team Fastrax will be performing at 12:45pm on Friday to start the outing. They will be jumping with their two 1,100 sq. ft. and 2,000 sq. ft. American flags. Registration for this event is already full, so if you have not registered, you’ll be missing out on an amazing aerial display. Check-In for registered participants is 1 hour prior, and the format is (4) ball scramble (Men & Women). The awards will be three flights (Red, White, Blue).
According to the Freedom Golf Classic website, the proceeds from the Freedom Alliance Charity Golf Outing go directly to the Freedom Alliance in support of two programs, the Scholarship Fund, and Support Our Troops. The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund honors the bravery and dedication exhibited by Americans in our armed forces who have sacrificed life or limb by providing educational scholarships to their children who are enrolled in accredited colleges and universities or vocational schools. Support Our Troops is a year-round outreach to honor members of Armed Forces that have been wounded and are recuperating as well as those currently serving on the front lines. Financial assistance and support is provided to the troops and their families.
The Freedom Golf Classic website further quotes, Al Scott, the Freedom Alliance Charity Golf Tournament founder, as saying, "Our goal is to build awareness for our honored heroes and provide much needed resources for their families. And the outpouring of support has been tremendous."
