(PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- Hosiden Corporation (Osaka, Japan) is now shipping a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module that supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Single Mode). Hosiden's BLE module is a small, all-purpose module which can be installed in peripherals so they can communicate with smart phones and PCs with low power consumption. As this product has an integrated antenna and is already Bluetooth certified, it makes it easier for users to get their end products certified and contributes to the reduction of overall product development costs. This module is equipped with Nordic nRF51822 BLE chip (SoC) and can handle up to 31 GPIOs which reduces the need for additional microprocessors.
