SMARTKIDSTM & SUPERTEENSTM BOOTCAMP’s Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Accelerated Learning Techniques by Dr Ernest Wong Celebrates 29th Anniversary!
Singapore (PRWEB) September 28, 2014 -- Dr. Ernest Wong, also known as the “Grandmaster” of Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Accelerated Learning Techniques in Asia, started SMARTKIDS™ & SUPERTEENS™ BOOTCAMP three decades ago in 1985.
For the past 29 years, Dr. Ernest Wong has used Singapore as a hub to reach people across Asia, from Malaysia and Vietnam, to Indonesia, Hong Kong, and China.
Singapore is considered as offering one of the highest levels of education for young people throughout Asia. Many scholars from Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong long to attend Singaporean schools, colleges, and universities to deepen their studies and ideally to obtain employment in Singapore. Local Singaporeans too face steep competition as Singapore’s education department raises its standards each year to determine which students are the cream of the crop.
Singapore parents, also known as “kiasu” parents, who are keen to ensure the very best opportunities for their children, are generally very anxious as they guide their children through the various scholastic examinations, from the local PSLE examination during Primary 6, the GCE “O” examination in Secondary 4, and then perhaps the “A” Levels during the college years, leading finally to a Bachelor degree at a local University.
To increase peace of mind during these stressful school years, many Singaporean parents choose to enroll their children in the SMARTKIDS™ & SUPERTEENS™ BOOTCAMP by Learning Mastery Pte Ltd.
One of the successful students to emerge from this program is Adam Khoo, founder of AKLTG company; best-selling author of “I Am Gifted, So Are You!” and a millionaire by 26, who went on to start his own Adam Khoo Camp to train kids.
Other Learning Mastery graduates include Stuart Tan and Gary Lee, Lead Trainers of AKLTG; Dr. Edgar Tham, Singapore’s first Sport & Performance Psychologist; He Rui Min and He Rui Jie, Singaporean President’s Scholars; Moses Soh, Singapore President’s Scholar 2012; Joe Pang, Oxford University Graduate and consultant for McKenzie Consulting; and Marcus Tan, World San Shou Champion.
There are two main components to the SMARTKIDS™ & SUPERTEENS™ BOOTCAMP: neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and accelerated learning techniques.
NLP proposes a connection between the neurological processes ("neuro"), language ("linguistic"), and behavioral patterns learned through experience ("programming"). and teaches that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life.
Accelerated learning techniques, as the name suggests, demonstrate how to apply specific methods to make learning easier, faster, and much more effective.
Some basic techniques taught include developing a super memory, speed reading, and learning the systems of English language, maths, physics and even chemistry.
SMARTKIDS™ BOOTCAMP is for children aged 9 to 12, while SUPERTEENS™ BOOTCAMP is for youths from 13 to 19. Both courses are built on four foundational pillars that encourage every child to unleash their potential, not only in their academic studies, but also in their personal lives and in facing challenges as teenagers.
Oliver Wong only scored 160 for his PSLE and was placed in his fifth choice of Secondary School in the Normal Academic stream. He was also labeled dyslexic by a specialist and was very demoralized. He worked hard to improve his grades, but after becoming a SUPERTEEN™ at the start of his “O” level year, he realized that success was not just about working hard. He scored 12 points for his “O” level using the SUPERTEENS™ method and is pursuing his dream to study Forensic Science.
Brandon Lim, who was admitted into the Anglo Chinese School (Independent) ACS(I), is an NCC (Land) Sword-of-Honour recipient and a Certified NLP Practitioner and Coach believes that SUPERTEENS™ gave him the necessary skills and tools to succeed in his studies. He managed to score an aggregate of 255 in his PSLE, which allowed him to attend ACS (Independent), and in 2010, he was accepted into the coveted Integrated Programme (IP). He has expressed gratitude to Dr. Ernest Wong for inspiring him to climb greater heights and achieve success in life.
Ernest Wong’s methods have transformed thousands of students from being shy to outgoing, and from getting average scores to being in the top 3% of their schools, qualifying them for top universities such as NUS, NTU, Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, Princeton, Hong Kong University, and the Chinese Universities of Hong Kong.
Any child who graduates from SMARTKIDS™ & SUPERTEENS™ BOOTCAMP not only will achieve academic excellence, but most importantly, they will be equipped with critical life skills, success strategies, and the ability to clearly pave the path for their life journey.
