BARRINGTON, R.I. (PRWEB) February 06, 2018 -- SmartTerra, a smart terrarium that allows users to create and enjoy custom ecosystems without having to care for them, launches on Kickstarter with a funding goal of $50,000. SmartTerra not only autonomously maintains the perfect environment for plants, but also provides a myriad of customizable features.
“The SmartTerra experience is unique. We aren’t just selling a terrarium,” said SmartTerra creator Suri Mujjalintrakool. “The moisture, temperature, and humidity sensors, along with the smart LED light system, make sure the environment is perfectly set to help plants thrive. You can enjoy watching rain fall with sound effects as SmartTerra waters your plants. Wake up with a SmartTerra sunrise and go to bed with a SmartTerra sunset. This Terrarium truly does it all.”
SmartTerra’s speakers allow users to listen to the natural sounds of the environment from where their plants originated or any music of their choosing via a Bluetooth connection. Users never have to worry about the humidity, moisture, temperature, or light levels because SmartTerra monitors and controls everything. It is simple to use: just fill the water tray when the SmartTerra app indicates and enjoy.
SmartTerra’s application for smartphones helps users learn more about and control their ecosystem. The app helps users receive real-time data on the status of the ecosystem, learn information about the plants and their ideal environment, set a daily sunrise, sunset or rainstorm, set the mood using nighttime mode with soft accent lights, schedule sounds of nature to play at certain times and receive alerts when it is time to fill the water tray.
Users can customize their SmartTerra terrarium with garden plants, tropical plants, succulents, herbs, soil, sand, rocks and other decorative items. With a UV lamp and food, turtles, lizards and frogs could live in the terrarium as well. The entire terrarium is fully customizable.
SmartTerra is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter for a discounted price of $199. For more information about the campaign, visit bit.ly/SmartTerraKS.
