Saratoga, NY (PRWEB) August 01, 2014 -- Chris Covell, president and founder of SmartWatt Energy, a leader in turnkey, integrated, design-build commercial, industrial and institutional energy efficiency projects, will be speaking at the 2014 New York Executive Clean Energy Leadership Program (NY EXCEL) CLEANTECH: Education & Instruction at Skidmore College in Saratoga, New York on August 3rd-9th, 2014.
This week-long residency provides a forum for networking and mentorship, with the goal of educating entrepreneurs and executives about how to achieve success in this niche market, from navigating permitting requirements to utilizing emerging technology. Covell’s “Energy Efficiency Bootcamp” session will provide an overview of demand-side management reduction initiatives applicable in commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, including retro-commissioning, lighting upgrades and mechanical upgrades. He will be speaking on Thursday, August 7th from 1:00-2:30pm.
