SMH Records Artist Mike Smith Hard at Work in Nashville, Prepping New Album & Video
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) June 22, 2015 -- Singer, songwriter and musician Mike Smith has been hard at work in Nashville finishing up his debut album, “Love Interrupted.” The SMH Records artist has grabbed Grammy Award winning producers The Avila Brothers to produce the album, with assistance from Guns N’ Roses, Gilby Clarke, Dave Matthews Horn Section, and James Taylor's Percussionist.
Smith is currently finishing up his video for his smash hit “Hard Working Man,” all while performing at the Country Music Awards (CMA’s), doing press and numerous photo-shoots. “Love Interrupted,” labeled a Country & Southern Rock album, is slated for a summer release.
“Mike Smith truly is the hardest workingman; he never sleeps when it comes to his music. Once the Avila Brothers were added to the production of his album, you got magic,” said King Tech, president of SMH Records.
“Mike Smith is an artist that represents the true essence of what we all love about music which is ‘The Emotional Experience’. He takes you on a journey with his unique way of telling stories inside of music and draws you in emotionally with his aggressive vocal delivery. The definition of Mike Smith is ‘Life & Music have no Boundaries,’” said Bobby Ross Avila of the Grammy Award winning Avila Brothers.
"Love Interrupted is truly a personal album about the crazy twist of fate of me reconnecting with my College Girlfriend 10 Years to the day of our breakup. Every song on this Album talks about the highs and lows along the path of our lives and the improbable way we ended up back together. I am so grateful to King Tech, Bobby Ross Avila, Izzy Avila, Sam Salter and Franky Fade for helping make this Album a reality,” Smith said.
Smith also added, "Hard Working Man is my salute to everyone out there who is not recognized for it. They get up everyday and keep this Country strong by doing their job without complaint, and make our lives that much better."
