SNHU Announces Tuition Discount for Active-Duty Military Spouses
(PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education announces today that it will now offer tuition discounts to spouses of active-duty military personnel.
Service members from all branches of the military receive discounts on tuition at SNHU’s College of Online and Continuing Education – up to 30 percent for undergraduate and 25 percent for graduate degrees – and military spouses now qualify for the same significant savings.
“Our goal is to fully support military spouses and provide the same opportunities for educational advancement,” said David Eby, vice president of SNHU’s College of Online and Continuing Education Marketing and Student Recruitment. “Oftentimes, spouses sacrifice their education or careers when husbands or wives are deployed or relocated. We want to give spouses a chance to do something for themselves, to earn a degree and advance their careers.”
Frequent deployments, relocation and raising a family can make it difficult for spouses to focus on personal goals. The online degree program with new lower tuition gives spouses the opportunity to continue their education and advance their careers.
“Military families are courageous and resilient,” said Gary Soldato, LTC, U.S. Army (R), “But they still need support. Southern New Hampshire University is dedicated to providing military spouses with the support they need to balance work and family demands while furthering their education.”

This discount will be available for qualified new students who enter a June 2014 term start at SNHU’s College for Online and Continuing Education.
