New York, NY (PRWEB) September 30, 2015 -- Sixty-two percent of American adults experience trouble sleeping at least few nights per week, which can a serious effect on a person’s health, but often times go completely untreated for years. The dedicated companies, organizations, and researchers need to band together to make an impact and help those who are experiencing lack of sleep or a particular sleep disorder to actively make a change and seek help.
The print component of “Sleep Sensitivity” is distributed within today’s edition of USA Today in New York, Los Angeles and Washington DC/Baltimore, with a circulation of approximately 250,000 copies and an estimated readership of 750,000. The digital component is distributed nationally through a vast social media strategy and across a network of top news sites and partner outlets. This edition of “Sleep Sensitivity” was made possible with the support of SnoreLab, a snoring management app. Snore Score is SnoreLab’s unique measure of snoring intensity used to compare snoring across nights and between people.
Jules Goldberg, the creator of SnoreLab declares, “SnoreLab, the snoring recording and tracking app that has helped more than 1 million people to better understand their sleep, is pleased to support the Sleep Sensitivity campaign for greater awareness of sleep issues.”
This campaign was made possible with the support of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the International Sleep Products Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and many more.
About SnoreLab
The SnoreLab app monitors sound patterns whilst a user sleeps to record and measure their snoring. The app assigns a Snore Score for the night, which is a measure of snoring intensity based on the volume and duration of a user's snoring. The Snore Score is used to compare snoring between nights and can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of snoring treatments, such as anti-snoring mouthpieces.
The app also tracks the impact of lifestyle factors such as drinking alcohol on a user’s snoring. It is listed in the NHS Choices Health Apps Library (UK National Health Service) of clinically reviewed health apps and was a runner-up in the ‘Best Health App’ category of the "Best App Ever Awards" 2014. SnoreLab will be launching on Android in September 2015 after attracting more than 1 million downloads on iOS.
