Sober College Celebrates its 10th Anniversary with the Successful Grand Opening of the Robert Pfeifer Memorial Learning Center
Woodland Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 09, 2016 -- Sober College, the game-changing dual diagnosis treatment center for young adults, celebrated its 10th anniversary with the grand opening of the Sober College Robert Pfeifer Memorial Learning Center at its location in Woodland Hills, California. The successful event spanned two days, December 2-3, and was attended by an overwhelming amount of alumni, family, colleagues and friends of Sober College.
“It was so amazing to officially share our new facility with the Sober College community for the first time,” says Mindi Levins-Pfeifer, who co-founded Sober College with her late husband Robert Pfeifer. “This learning center was Robert’s vision, and now with it finally complete, I cannot think of a better way to have honored his legacy than the amazing two-day event which celebrated him and all the people he has helped overcome addiction in the past 10 years.”
Friday’s Dedication Ceremony included lunch, tours of the new facility, art displays and projects, networking, and more. For Saturday’s “Community Day,” attendees enjoyed live music from Sober College’s esteemed alumni and staff, photo booth fun, food trucks, and a ton of entertainment.
Sober College Robert Pfeifer Memorial Learning Center marks the first ever treatment center to offer its clients a state-of-the-art facility that blends college education, health and wellness, and creativity all under one roof. The site includes high-tech college classrooms, a professional recording studio, yoga and meditation rooms, therapy centers, and a whole lot more.
“We could not be prouder or more impressed by the exceptional learning center Robert has dreamed up for us,” said Pfeifer. “This beautiful new space will give our clients access to a myriad of opportunities that will help them to unlock their passions, build confidence, and heal their addictions from a brain perspective. All of this goes hand-in-hand with our holistic approach to treatment, which focuses on treating the entire person, and not only the addiction.”
