Soccer Training Facility Opening to Train Best-of-the-Best Young Athletes
Hilton Head, South Carolina (PRWEB) April 21, 2015 -- The Excel Soccer Management (ESM) European Center of Soccer Excellence opens its doors August 24th, 2015 in Hilton Head, South Carolina with a forty-week non-residential academic soccer program for athletes, ages 13 and older.
The European Center of Soccer Excellence is located on beautiful Hilton Head Island where students will be able to train and learn year-round. Combining intensive soccer training with a college-prep education, student-athletes will gain the experience of a lifetime. The coaching syllabus is ideal for soccer students training or playing at regional or national levels and looking to play professional soccer or division 1 college soccer.
Aiming to reach professional and college outcomes for their soccer players, The European Center of Soccer Excellence has equipped itself with a staff and a school to support this goal. All coaching staff have significant experience with European professional clubs in the development of academy-aged players. The daily schedule is strategically planned to optimize training and academics. Players will train Monday through Friday from either the 9 AM - 12 PM or 1 PM - 4 PM. Academics are integrated with training time and in a blended learning environment provided by US Performance Academy, a digital, college-prep, middle and high school for athletes. Student-athletes will receive full-support from US Performance Academy staff, learning coaches, college counselors, teachers, and will have an opportunity to interface with the USPA network of athletes around the world.
“Athletes will be committing to more training hours than ever before.” says European Center of Soccer Excellence Director, Michael Townsend. “We are able to do this by combining their education and their training into a cohesive schedule that will keep each student-athlete at a high level. Receiving between 15 and 20 hours of coaching weekly will help student-athletes effectively compete with European player development standards giving each player the opportunity to achieve college scholarship or a professional contract.”
