The I Have a Dream Foundation was founded in 1990 with the goal of helping low-income students succeed in school, college, and a career. Their ambitious vision is to see 100% of Oregon students complete high school, with 80% of students completing some form of post-secondary education. They ultimately want to break the cycle of poverty for children and families living in low-income communities. Leveraging and aligning existing community resources in highly strategic, comprehensive partnerships referred to as "strategic partnership leadership" helps students reach success in their academic endeavors.
Fort Wayne Rescue Mission is a faith-based, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization which was founded in 1903. They offer restorative care to men, women, children, and families experiencing homelessness in their lives. Their mission is to provide a home for the homeless, food for the hungry, and hope for their futures. Fort Wayne Rescue Mission is comprised of four ministries, referred to as houses, which function as communities of compassion.
