Sofia University Hosts Sex/Body/Self: A Performance by Tim Miller
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- Sofia University is proud to host internationally acclaimed performance artist and author, Tim Miller. The special event will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 7:30pm-10:00pm in the Sofia University Auditorium. Tim’s creative work as a performer and writer explores the artistic, spiritual and political topography of his identity as a gay man.
Hailed for his humor and passion, Tim’s performances have been presented all over North America, Australia, and Europe in such prestigious venues as Yale Repertory Theatre, the Institute for Contemporary Art (London), the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Tim has taught performance in the theater departments at UCLA, Cal State LA and NYU. He is a founder of Performance Space 122 in NYC and Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, CA.
