Soft-Lite Windows Featured on National Television Series
Streetsboro, OH (PRWEB) March 27, 2015 -- Soft-Lite windows were recently featured on an episode of The National Geographic Channel’s “Cabin Fever”. The premise of the show is that Minnesota woodsman Nate Heim and his timber-loving team make childhood dreams come true, building custom rustic hideaways and massive mountaintop mansions. On the episode featuring Soft-Lite Windows, titled “Lodge on the Ridge,” Heim and his crew leave the familiar confines of Minnesota for the beautiful, rugged peaks and valleys of Kamas, Utah, to make one family's dream cabin a reality.
Twenty-seven Soft-Lite Imperial LS Windows were used in this project. These windows were constructed of Soft-White-colored vinyl on the exterior with a Brazilian Cherry woodgrain finish on the interior. Numerous window styles were used in the project -- including double-hung, sliding, picture window, awning and various specialty shapes -- as well as a Soft-Lite Kingsroyal Glide sliding patio door. All Soft-Lite products incorporated the company's high-performance Ultra triple-pane glass system—and all windows and doors were ENERGY STAR labeled.
