Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 24, 2015 -- Solomon Associates, the leading performance improvement company for the global energy industry, today announced that Vice President, Asia Operations Paul Kennedy and Senior Consultant Joe Barth are scheduled to speak at three different industry conferences around the world in March 2015.
The 2015 European Technical Conference & Courses take place March 16–18 in Vienna, Austria. Barth will give a presentation, titled “Principles and Practices Fostering Profitability,” on March 18. Leveraging data from years of Solomon’s Comparative Performance Analysis™ (CPA™) studies, Barth will share with attendees the practices that improve profitability. Solomon has been the leader in conducting refining, petrochemical, pipeline, and power generation CPA benchmarking studies since 1980.
The 2015 European Technical Conference & Courses, hosted by Haverly Systems, brings together experts in planning, crude assays, and scheduling for one week of stimulating discussions, thought-provoking technical papers, relevant breakout sessions, and in-depth courses. Kennedy will present at The ARTC 18th Annual Meeting in Bangkok, which takes place March 18–19. He will provide insights on leading performance based on Solomon’s International Study of Plant Reliability and Maintenance Effectiveness (RAM Study). His speech on March 18 will address how to balance reliability and maintenance costs, achievable levels of additional production capacity through reliability, and insights into industry benchmarks on turnaround performance.
The ARTC 18th Annual Meeting is Global Technology Forum's (GTF’s) premier event in Asia, and forms part of the international portfolio of GTF conferences dedicated to the downstream refining and petrochemical industry. For more information, visit http://events.gtforum.com/artc-annual-meeting.
Kennedy will also speak at Platts Asian Refining Summit in Singapore, which takes place March 26–27. His presentation, titled “Insights on the World’s Best Refineries,” is based on Solomon’s rigorous benchmarking of more than 85 percent of the worldwide refining capacity. Kennedy will explain how the best refineries gain competitive advantage and what that is worth, whether large capacity refineries out-perform medium-sized refineries, and how the cost of transportation fuels analyses clearly shows the impact of shale boom.
Platts Asian Refining Summit sets a global agenda, inviting industry leaders to share views on the critical developments affecting the downstream and trading communities. For more information, visit http://www.platts.com/events/asia-pacific/asian-refining-summit/index.
