Solterra Senior Living to Host First Annual Pet Adoption Event
Chandler, AZ (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- Solterra Senior Living Community, an independent living home for retirees and senior citizens, will host its first annual pet adoption event this Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to Solterra's residents, all members of the Chandler community are welcome to attend.
The event was organized in coordination with the Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA, the state's largest no-kill shelter which rehabilitates and re-homes more than 5,000 dogs and cats from across Maricopa County each year. All pets that will be up for adoption at Solterra Senior Living's event will be spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date with their vaccinations.
"We are eager to find loving homes for these special dogs," says Jona Martinez, Activities Director. "Owning an adopted pet is an incredibly rewarding experience -- especially for seniors who might get lonely living on their own and need a loving companion in their lives." Solterra Senior Living is a privately held, family-owned company that develops and manages high-quality senior living communities in Arizona and Colorado that provide exceptional care for their independent, assisted living and memory care tenants.
In addition to the many pet adoption opportunities for everyone attending, Solterra will be providing a bounce house for children, snow cones, BBQ hot dogs and a few classic cars on display. This family-friendly party will be held on Solterra’s grass event area, located at the southwest corner of Frye and Alma School Road in Chandler.
"This event will give the community an opportunity to see what Solterra Senior Living has to offer its residents in terms of daily activities, quality culinary choices and lifestyle," says Sales and Marketing Director Adrian Cordero. "It's an event that everyone in the family can enjoy, and we encourage everyone to stop by for an hour or two."
