Sons of Italy Focuses Support to Hope For The Warriors
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- Hope For The Warriors® (http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org) is honored to be the focused charity for the Order Sons of Italy Grand Lodge of New York, 21st Winter Charity Ball, OSIA Convention and for all chapters throughout the state of New York. The organization has already had a strong relationship and support from the chapter in Deerpark, NY and is excited to expand this relationship to the members throughout New York. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
In addition to Hope For The Warriors® being honored, Corporal Manny Jimenez, USMC (Ret.) will be honored with a Special Courage & Patriotism Award. While serving in Afghanistan, Jimenez was severely injured and has been working with Hope For The Warriors® since being injured. Jimenez has been active in athletics through Team Hope For The Warriors® and has also volunteered within the military and local community.
