Sonshine Singers And Death By Chocolate At The Vincent House Are The September Events Featured By The Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association
Fort Dodge, Iowa (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- Sonshine Singers is a group of vocalists that represent approximately 40 churches in the area. The group is dedicated to providing, through contemporary sacred anthems, a “music ministry” revealing the power of God’s love and grace so freely given to us all.
Founded in the summer of 1999, the Sonshine Singers is actually the brainstorm of members of the audience at a Fort Dodge Civic Glee Club performance. Each Sunday throughout January, February and the first Sunday in March approximately 100 singers meet to rehearse 22 anthems that are performed in March. Another fall performance is also presented in September each year.
The community is invited to attend the September 13th Fall performance of “Sonshine Gaither-Style”. The group will be singing songs by William J. “Bill” Gaither who is an American singer and songwriter of Southern gospel and Contemporary Christian music. The free will offering performance is at 4:00 pm at the Fort Dodge Middle School located at 800 North 32nd Street in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
"Death by Chocolate" is a fun social event that will be hosted and held at the Vincent House. The evening will begin at 5:00 pm on September 18th. The evening will be filled with fine chocolates and wine for guest to taste and enjoy. Cost is $10.00 and everyone is welcome to attend.
