Soroptimist Receives 2015 Pennsylvania Excellence Award
Philadelphia, Pennslyvania (PRWEB) January 21, 2015 -- For the second year in a row, Soroptimist International of the Americas has received the U.S. Commerce & Trade Research Institute (USCTRI)’s 2015 Pennsylvania Excellence Award, given to organizations that consistently demonstrate a high regard for upholding business ethics and company values.
Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization of women who work to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. The organization also powers LiveYourDream.org, an online community that encourages on- and offline action on behalf of women and girls.
According to USCTRI, the recognition marks Soroptimist’s significant achievement as an emerging leader among various competitors, and is setting benchmarks the industry should follow.
