Sorrel Sky Gallery’s Steampunk Soirée
Durango, CO (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- Sorrel Sky Gallery’s Steampunk Soirée takes place during Durango’s annual winter “Snowdown” festival. This year’s theme evolves around the current trend of Steampunk and Sorrel Sky Gallery along with Mercy Health Foundation has teamed up to raise money for this year’s beneficiary, Mercy Health Foundation. The event will be hosted at the Durango gallery located at 828 Main Ave. on Saturday, January 31 from 6 – 8:30 p.m.
Guests will enjoy an evening of winter madness - where the Wild West meets the Victorian era in full Steampunk fashion! A “creative mixology” of beverages including champagne, great food and dancing with music by our “audiotorian”, DJ Mr. Soul at Sorrel Sky Gallery’s 4th annual fundraising event. Black tie and Steampunk attire are optional.
Gallery owner Shanan Campell Wells says, “this is our 4th year to work with Karen and the folks at the Mercy Health Foundation and we love raising money and awareness for Mercy and the amazing work they do in our community.”
Tickets are $50 and can be picked up at Sorrel Sky Gallery located at 828 Main Ave. in Durango or by calling the Mercy Health Foundation at (970) 764-2800 or the Gallery at (970) 247-3555. A sell-out is expected and everyone is encouraged to get your tickets early.
Sorrel Sky Gallery’s fresh approach to Western art presents a select collection of contemporary and traditional fine art and jewelry for the discerning collector. Sorrel Sky Gallery was founded in Durango, CO in 2002 and opened its Santa Fe, NM location in 2014. It represents over 60 painters, sculptors and jewelers including bronze artist Star Liana York, painter Billy Schenck, and former U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse, among others.
