Source UPS offer massive savings with three-year warranty cover on all Riello uninterruptible power supplies
(PRWEB UK) 29 July 2013 -- Uninterruptible power supply specialist Source UPS are now offering a free three-year parts and labour warranty on all Riello UPS that could save businesses more than £3,000 in service and maintenance costs.
The three-year warranty is an advanced replacement service for single phase systems and an On-Site Best Endeavor Response Service for three phase UPS power supplies. There is no restriction or limit on the VA rating of the UPS that qualify for this offer as long as it has been purchased via Source UPS, a Riello Power Reseller.
Most uninterruptible power supply manufacturers only offer one or two-year parts and labour warranties on smaller single phase UPS and usually only one year on larger three phase systems 10kVA and above. For three phase UPS systems, this type of warranty covers the cost of any parts required for repair and any labour costs if the manufacturer has to send an engineer to site. The response time to a fault occurring is normally classed as “best endeavor” with a time frame of 48 hours to seven days to respond.
Source UPS also offer warranty upgrades that include faster on site response times to either four or eight hours, as well as an annual preventative UPS maintenance visit. This means an approved Riello UPS engineer comes out once a year for a scheduled visit to test and check if the UPS power supply is working correctly and perform regular maintenance, preventing failures, reducing system downtime and prolonging the life of the UPS.
Extended warranties usually cost between £750.00 and £1,600 (+VAT) per year depending on the size of the uninterruptible power supplies. Using a 10-30kVA UPS as example, the Riello three-year offer could equate to a saving of more than £3,200 during the three-year extended warranty period.
