Derek Shannon, owner of the South Calgary Fit Body Boot Camp, is proud to announce the expansion of his already highly successful fitness business network. He is expanding from a 700 sq. ft. facility into a 2,300 sq. ft. structure that will allow him to reach and instruct significantly more Calgary residents than ever before. “After having my own very small studio under another name,” says Shannon while expressing his faith in the Fit Body Boot Camp brand, “I knew I needed to truly break out of my comfort zone and dramatically scale-up to accomplish my personal mission of positively impacting the lives of at least 5000 individuals in the next 36-48 months. The Grand Opening will be held at #100 14707 Bannister Rd. SE on Saturday, January 31st, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Local Calgary businesses such as Life Chef, Catalyst Supplements, Fabutan, and South West Massage And Wellness Centre will be participating in the event, offering discounted promotions and products to attendees. There will be food, games and prizes available to all attending. The event will provide an opportunity for Calgary residents to explore the Fit Body Boot Camp brand, meet the location owner, Derek Shannon, and discover if the workout system is right for them. Shannon and the other local businesses attending the event will also be hosting a food drive to benefit the Calgary Food Bank. Event coordinators ask that attendees bring non-perishable food items or cash donations to be offered at the charity drive.
