South Tampa Chamber Announces Business of The Year
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) January 26, 2015 -- South Tampa Chamber announces the Business of the Year of 2014. The winner of the Emerging Business category is Urban E Recycling, Inc. of Tampa Bay.
Business of the Year is an award that is presented annually by the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce for businesses that “set the standard for excellence, follow good business practices and are a great representative for our community.”
The organization S.C.O.R.E. (Service Corps of Retired Executives) was chosen to judge the awards. The nominees were interviewed January 6 and S.C.O.R.E. judges also visited the place of business to determine the finalist. The winners were announced at the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Gala January 22, 2015.
The STCOC Gala was held at the Holiday Inn on West Shore Blvd and Cypress.
Honored guests included Commissioner Sandy Murman, Councilman Harry Cohen, and Chief of Police, Jane Castor .
Other Business of the Year winners include Jerel McCants Architecture, Inc. for Small Business (1-5) employees, MamaRazzi foto, Inc. for Medium Business (6-10 employees) and Feldman Orthodontics, for Large Business (11+ employees).
