Southern Nuclear Veteran Steve Tipps Joins Certrec’s Office of Licensing and Compliance Team
Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) July 28, 2015 -- Certrec, a leading licensing and regulatory compliance service provider that supports NRC and NERC compliance, announced today that Mr. Steve Tipps has joined Certrec’s Office of Licensing and Compliance team, and will provide daily support to clients.
Mr. Tipps recently retired as Licensing Supervisor at Plant Hatch and has over 39 years of experience in the areas of licensing, compliance, engineering, and operations. He has a demonstrated track record in licensing and a high level of knowledge in the areas of operability, 50.59, reportability, technical specifications, and the reactor oversight process.
As an OLC Project Manager, Mr. Tipps will support Certrec clients in the Southern Nuclear and TVA fleets, and our Regional Utility Groups. As part of the Certrec CORE Support Team, Mr. Tipp’s expertise is also available to all other Certrec OLC clients as needed.
