Sovos Compliance Acquires WineDirect Compliance

The acquisition of WineDirect Compliance comes on the heels of the April acquisition of ShipCompliant, the leading compliance and tax solution provider for the beverage alcohol market. Sovos Compliance will integrate WineDirect’s compliance product assets and intellectual property into the ShipCompliant platform and deepen its relationship with the WineDirect solution suite.
As part of the WineDirect solutions suite, WineDirect Compliance provides automated and scheduled reporting of direct shipments, compliance checks in the shopping cart or via an iPad POS, and calculation and reporting of sales and excise taxes.
