Space Coast Credit Union Expands with Viera
Melbourne, FL (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) recently celebrated the grand opening of its 57th branch, located in Viera Florida at 5470 Stadium Parkway. A special grand opening event with ribbon cutting was hosted on July 9, and representatives from The Viera Company, SCCU members, and SCCU leadership were in attendance.
The new location is a full-service branch featuring drive-thru service with extended hours, two drive-up and walk-up ATMs with 24/7 access, a night depository, safe deposit boxes, and an onsite financial advisor. The branch will be headed by Nicole DeRoy, Branch Manager.
Within weeks of opening, the branch welcomed 50 new memberships and closed over $300,000 in new auto loan production.
“SCCU understands the need to strategically build branches where it’s convenient for members to do their banking, and that is exactly what we have done,” said Heather Hickman, SCCU senior vice president of retail branch administration. “This new branch will benefit the nearly 4,000 existing members living in the Viera community plus thousands of prospective members.”
