Sparkhouse Family, Children's Book Publisher, Renames as Beaming Books
MINNEAPOLIS (PRWEB) January 30, 2018 -- Children's book publisher Sparkhouse Family has rebranded as Beaming Books. A business unit of 1517 Media, Sparkhouse Family was launched in 2014 as a publisher of Bibles and religious books for children. Under the new name, Beaming Books will publish high-quality books for children in both religious and non-religious categories.
"Beaming Books is dedicated to helping kids thrive socially, emotionally, and spiritually," says Andrew DeYoung, managing editor for the imprint. "We're looking to tackle a broad range of topics related to kids' social and emotional well-being, including kindness, ethics, self-esteem, and faith."
Forthcoming titles from Beaming books include Laura Renauld's Porcupine's Pie, a charming picture book about sharing and community spirit; Caryn Rivadeneira's Generous Kids series, which helps kids of all ages live with generosity and abundance; and Sarah Raymond Cunningham's May God Bless You and Keep You, a faith-inflected book of welcoming and encouragement for young children in the style of The Wonderful Things You Will Be.
