Sparus Holdings Names Jessica Liu President of Spear Business Unit
Norcross, GA (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 -- Sparus Holdings today announced the election of Jessica Liu to the position of president of The Spear Group, Inc., its project management, engineering and business transformational services subsidiary, replacing retiring president John Sturdevant.

Ms. Liu has more than 23 years of experience in delivering similar professional services to Fortune 500 clients. She was a principal in Booz Allen & Hamilton’s energy practice and has held key leadership positions in PwC’s Advisory practice, Siebel Systems, and Yahoo! She also previously worked for Goldman Sachs and Bain & Co.
Her areas of expertise include leading clients through major business transformational efforts, implementing state-of-the-art operations, technology, and program management improvements. She holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Biochemistry, cum laude, from Harvard College.

Sparus also announced that Senior Vice President Joe Griffin has been named Chief Operating Officer of The Spear Group, with responsibility for day-to-day operations. Mr. Griffin, who has been with The Spear Group since 1994, will report to Ms. Liu in this role. He has a total of 37 years of experience in the sector, with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Appalachian State University.
In addition to The Spear Group, Sparus Holdings also holds subsidiary Southern Cross, a technical services and technology products company serving energy utilities.
