Santa Rosa , CA (PRWEB) September 21, 2016 -- Dr. Ni graduated from Yale School of Medicine in 2011, and completed an Internal Medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Wills Eye Hospital at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Ni accomplished an advanced fellowship in cornea, external disease and uveitis at the University of California, San Francisco’s Proctor Foundation.
Dr. Ni was awarded the Claes Dohlman Fellowship Award, a prestigious award granted to only one outstanding cornea fellow in the nation annually. During her training, Dr. Ni was privileged to provide refractive surgery for the armed forces in Texas, as well as ophthalmic care overseas for the local population in Tenwek, Kenya. Her professional focus includes procedures such as corneal transplants, complex cataract surgery using the latest technologies, and anterior segment reconstruction.
