Spencer Ogden Announced as National Business Awards Finalist for the Growth Business of the Year Award
(PRWEB UK) 16 July 2014 -- Today, Spencer Ogden has been shortlisted for the Growth Business of the Year Award at the 2014 National Business Awards. Spencer Ogden is an international energy recruitment company, headquartered in London.
Going up against Dragon’s Den success story, Tangle Teezer Ltd and eight others, Spencer Ogden will compete for the prestigious award, with the winner being revealed at the National Business Awards gala dinner held on 11 November at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Yvonne Quinn, judge for the Growth Business category said: “Spencer Ogden’s ability to work in specific technical niches, on a global basis, has been a significant factor in the company’s rapid and very impressive growth. The company’s customer-centric approach to sales means that it has expanded its original offering to include access to other technical specialisms. This enables the company to operate across the full life cycle of any energy project and undoubtedly deepens its relationship with clients.”
“It is a fantastic achievement for Spencer Ogden to be nominated in the Growth Business category, as our expansion and growth strategy is something we are very proud of, and is key to the success of the business,” says David Spencer-Percival, CEO of Spencer Ogden.
“Our unique focus on the entire energy sector means we have to continually adapt to the changing landscape. The hard work and dedication of our consultants are what has supported our growth to date, and will continue to be an asset as we expand the international business moving forward.”
This year’s shortlisted businesses cover activities as diverse as retail, recruitment, technology, construction and publishing, with the smallest business recognised turning over just £23k whilst the largest reaches £20 billion.
Alex Evans, Programme Director of the National Business Awards said: “With the variety of industries represented, these recovery-leading businesses have demonstrated the return on investment in people, innovation, customer service and leadership.”
Finalists were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 17 award categories. They will now prepare for live presentations to expert juries who will decide the overall winners.
