Splick-it Mobile Ordering Appoints Vijay Bangaru as Chief Executive Officer
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- Splick-it, Inc. announced today that Vijay Bangaru has joined the organization as President and Chief Executive Officer. Bangaru is a leading technology executive in the Denver and Boulder area, having worked with Google, Microsoft and MapQuest in a variety of product management and technology leadership roles. His arrival signals an expanded focus on product innovation and a rapid expansion of Splick-it’s business.
“I’ve always been a big fan of Splick-it’s technology and have often used their mobile restaurant ordering app so I don’t have to wait in line at my favorite lunch spots,” Bangaru says.
Most recently, Bangaru was Vice President of Product at MapQuest where he helped launch innovative products such as MapQuest Vibe and MapQuest Discover. He previously managed Product and Technology at Google, playing a key role in the development of groundbreaking products like Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Search.

Bangaru is actively recruiting talent to join his team and help realize his aggressive business development roadmap. He has already recruited Anke Corbin as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Bob Durkin as Vice President of Sales.
Prior to joining Splick-it, Ms. Corbin served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MapQuest and Vice President of Marketing at TransWorld Media, a division of Time, Inc. She has vast experience as an executive in the enterprise and startup space. Corbin’s expertise will help Splick-it continue to grow their audience and expand into new markets.
Durkin has a deep understanding of the tech marketplace, having co-founded several successful tech startups where he was Vice President of Sales for Pinpoint Technologies and iCentric. His focus will be on growing the accounts base.
